Kitloft Tools app: privacy policy

Who we are

Kitloft Tools is made by Kitloft (kitloft.dev), the developer listed for the app on Google Play. This policy covers the Kitloft Tools Android app.

Your photos, documents and numbers

Every tool in the app works on your phone. Photos and images you choose, the PDFs and passport photos the app makes, and the amounts you type into the money calculators are processed on your device and are never uploaded to Kitloft or anyone else. The app has no accounts and no sign-in.

Files the app saves

When you tap Save, the file is written to your phone's Pictures/Kitloft or Download/Kitloft folder. When you tap Share, the file is handed to the app you pick. Kitloft never sees these files.

Permissions

• Internet and network state: only to load ads. The tools work offline.
• Storage: asked for only on Android 8 and 9, to save files. Newer versions of Android do not need it.
• Photos: the app uses Android's photo picker, so it can only open the photos you choose.

Ads

The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent first, and you can change your choice at any time from Privacy settings in the app menu. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads). What Kitloft collects

Nothing. The app has no analytics of its own and no server of ours to send data to. If you email us feedback, we use your message and email address only to reply.

Keeping and deleting data

Kitloft stores no data from the app, so there is nothing for us to delete. Files you save stay on your phone until you delete them, and uninstalling the app removes everything else it kept on the device. Feedback emails are kept only as long as needed to reply; ask at hello@kitloft.dev and we will delete yours. Data collected by Google for ads is kept and deleted under Google's privacy policy.

Children

The app is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
