Privacy and disclosures
Short version: what you type into Kitloft stays in your browser. There are no accounts and no cookies.
What you type and the files you open
Every tool runs in your browser. Text, tokens, configs and files you open are processed on your device and are never sent to Kitloft or anyone else. The libraries the PDF and spreadsheet tools use are served from Kitloft itself, not from a third-party CDN.
Some tools keep their settings in the page address, after the # sign, so you can share a link. Browsers do not send that part of the address to any server. Fields that can hold secrets, like environment variables, are never put in the link.
What is stored on your device
If you switch between light and dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage as kl-theme. Kitloft does not set cookies.
Hosting
Kitloft is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic request data, such as IP addresses and browser types, to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Affiliate links and sponsors
Some pages suggest hosting providers. Those are affiliate links: if you sign up through one, Kitloft may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Sponsored placements are labeled "Sponsored". Neither affects what any tool generates, and both are marked rel="sponsored" for search engines.
Trademarks
Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx, AWS, GitHub and other product names are trademarks of their owners. They are used here only to describe what the tools work with. Kitloft is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
