Which level should I choose?
Balanced suits most scans and forms. Use Strong when an upload limit is tight, such as 1 or 2 MB, and Light when you need to read small print clearly.
Why did my PDF not get smaller?
PDFs made from typed documents are already compact, so turning their pages into images can make them bigger. If that happens the tool tells you, and you should keep the original.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The PDF is processed in your browser and never leaves your device.
