Image resizer
Resize photos to an exact width and height, or scale them by a percentage. Works on many photos at once.
Common questions
How do I resize a photo without stretching it?
Enter only the width and leave the height blank, and the height is worked out from the photo's proportions. If you set both, "Fit inside" keeps the proportions and "Fill and crop" trims the edges to hit the exact size.
What size should I use?
1280 or 1920 pixels wide suits websites and sharing. Profile photos are usually square, like 400×400. For forms that ask for a size in KB rather than pixels, use the image compressor or the passport photo maker.
Does making a photo bigger add detail?
No. Scaling above 100% only makes the pixels larger, so the photo will look softer.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Resizing happens in your browser and your photos stay on your device.
