Common questions
Will the layout look exactly like the PDF?
No. You get the text, split into paragraphs with a page break between pages, ready to edit. Tables, images, columns and fonts are not rebuilt. For a pixel-perfect copy, open the PDF directly in Word (File, Open), which converts it on your computer.
Why does it say my PDF has no text?
Scanned documents are pictures of pages, with no text inside. They need OCR (optical character recognition) first.
Why .doc and not .docx?
The .doc file opens in Word, LibreOffice and Google Docs. Use File, Save As in Word to turn it into .docx.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. It is read in your browser, so it is safe for contracts, payslips and other private documents.
