How do I tell seconds from milliseconds?
Present-day timestamps in seconds have 10 digits (like 1760000000) and in milliseconds 13 digits. JavaScript and Java use milliseconds; Unix tools, Python's time.time() and most APIs use seconds.

Systems that store seconds in a signed 32-bit integer overflow after 2147483647, which is 03:14:07 UTC on 19 January 2038. 64-bit timestamps do not have this problem.
How are dates without a time zone read?
