Which apps can scan this QR code?
Any UPI app, including Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM and bank apps. The money goes straight to the bank account linked to your UPI ID; Kitloft is never involved in the payment.
Where do I find my UPI ID?
Open your UPI app and look at your profile. It looks like name@okaxis or 9876543210@ybl. Copy it exactly; a typo sends the customer to the wrong ID or an error.
Is this a merchant QR?
No. This is a standard UPI payment QR for your personal or business UPI ID. Banks and apps offer merchant QR codes with sound boxes and settlement reports, and some limit the number of payments a personal ID can receive. For regular shop payments, ask your bank about a merchant account.
Is my UPI ID stored anywhere?
No. The QR code is drawn in your browser. If you use the share link, your ID is kept in the link itself, after the # sign, and never sent to a server.
